Kids Sunday School Classes are going strong!

New Classes! New Teachers!

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. First Christian Church offers programs for kids of all ages. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it. 

 

Your younger kids will have a blast in our nursery, which opens at 9:45 a.m.  When worship starts at 11:00 a.m., your children may want to attend Children's Church downstairs, which offers a fun, age appropriate lesson led by one of our church family volunteers. (If they would rather stay with you, though, they are welcome to remain for the service! Pastor Astor says that the only thing worse than hearing a crying child in church is not hearing a crying child in church!) 

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! One of our greeters will show you around when you arrive. We will meet your family, show you what we have to offer for your children, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!

SAFETY

We understand that our children are our most precious attendees, and want you to feel confident that they will be safe and cared for during services.  As a security measure, we lock our Fellowship Hall downstairs door when the service begins, so that latecomers must enter through the main sanctuary doors. This ensures that no one can access the children's area unnoticed.

If your child needs you at any point during the service, we will notify you immediately.

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal at First Christian Church is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
